Chloe has found it difficult to maintain socialisation for her son Zac during lockdown

Zac Hurst was just 7 months old when the first lockdown began in March 2020. Twelve months later, social distancing rules have meant many of the important developmental experiences that help to form a child’s social skills have been denied to Zac.

Mum, Chloe, 28, is a teaching assistant and is worried about the potential impact on her little boy. She’s worked hard to keep Zac happy and busy and was pleased to see the parks stay open during the latest lockdown.

Bobby Twidale went to  Radcliffe-on-Trent to meet Chloe and Zac and find out how they plan to make the most of the opportunity to get out and about and meet up with friends and family this spring.

Zac is fascinated by all living creatures and one of the first places they plan to go is to Zac’s favourite – White Post Farm.
