Prepare for the Easter weekend with tasty treats to share with friends and family.

Enya Stock creates a how to video making chocolate brownies, topped with a variety of your favourite easter chocolates.  

Brownie Ingredients 

  • 200g Unsalted Butter 
  • 200g Dark Chocolate 
  • 3 Large Eggs 
  • 275g Caster Sugar  
  • 100g Plain Flour 
  • 50g Cocoa Powder 
  • 50-100g Crushed Mini Smartie Easter Eggs (optional) 

Toppings Ingredients  

Any easter chocolates can be used 

  • 150g White Chocolate (melted) 
  • 2 Creme Eggs 
  • 4 KitKat Easter Bunnies  
  • 20g Crushed Mini Smartie Easter Eggs 

 Full Recipe  

Step 1  

Preheat the oven to 180/160° Fan and line a baking tray with parchment paper. 

Step 2  

Melt together the butter and dark chocolate over a pan of boiling water. Alternatively, this can be done in the microwave at short 20second bursts. Once melted, leave to the side to cool down.  

Step 3  

Whisk together the eggs and caster sugar until the colour has turned pale and the texture is mousse like.  

Step 4  

Combine the chocolate/butter mixture with the eggs/sugar mixture and fold through.  

Step 5 

Sift the cocoa powder and plain flour onto the top of the chocolate mixture and fold through.  

Step 6 

Add the crushed mini smartie easter eggs into the mixture and mix well.  

Step 7 

Pour the mixture into the lined baking tray and smooth into corners.   

Step 8  

Bake in the oven for 25 – 30 minutes.  

Step 9  

Once baked, leave in the tin to cool completely. 

Step 10 

Decorate, cut into 4×4 squares and enjoy.
