While the trend of fast fashion is decreasing a lot for ecological and ethical reasons, a great way to make your wardrobe more sustainable is to ask your siblings, parents or grandparents for clothing that they might want to ‘throw away’. Collecting ‘vintage’ clothing from those around you is fun and sustainable.
Reporters Jessica Piazzi and Ignas Vieversys took to the streets of Nottingham’s city centre to ask members of the public what their oldest item of clothing is and if they own hand-me-downs from siblings, parents or grandparents.
