For music enthusiasts looking to plan their night, the post-punk, gothic rock band The The March Violets perform at Rescue Rooms, Nottingham, tonight (June 6). Tickets £22.50 and doors open at 6.30pm. The main act follows after the opening performance by the American singer-songwriter and pianist Kristeen Young.
The Curious Cabaret are at The Berliner Bar in Beeston. For those  looking for a night of magic and comedy, tickets are available from £22-£25 and the show is set to go on from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
TommyInnit, one of the world’s most popular YouTubers who also holds two Guinness World Records for his following and streaming on Twitch, is going to be performing on Wednesday (June 7) at the Theatre Royal. For those who are looking to catch the show, tickets are £29.15.
Glasgow indie band Chvrches are lined up for Rock City on Friday (June 9). Fans of synth-pop can buy tickets starting from £34.
For film enthusiasts, there is an outdoor screening of Top Gun: Maverick at the Victoria Embankment on Friday (June 9) at 7.45 pm. Tickets are available from £15.50 for adults.

Windrush 75 events

Ahead of Windrush Day on June 22, there a number of events which are set to take place around the country. The Coventry Caribbean Association is organising a day festival on June 10 with speakers, live music, small businesses putting up shops and authentic Caribbean cuisine. Early bird tickets are priced at £6.
Author and playwright Colin Grant will present Nottingham Trent University’s Great Minds talk, Windrush Stories, at University Hall on Shakespeare Street, Nottingham on Thursday (June 8).
