An on-the-pitch bust-up between Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo and owner Evangelos Marinakis stole the after-match attention at Nottingham Forest’s crucial clash with Leicester City at the City Ground on Sunday (May 11).
The two men were seen in confrontation after the 2-2 draw with Marinakis seemingly very exercised over the team’s faltering performance, though they later claimed it was a ‘misunderstanding’ over an injury to striker Taiwo Awoniyi.
So, as it’s National Limerick Day, we’re paying tribute to the testosterone twosome with our very own rhyme:
Marinakis stormed in with a glare
‘Why’s Taiwo still hobbling out there?!’
To Nuno he ranted a snap,
Almost a Will Smith slap,
